Orphanages: Our primary initiative is to get babies in Orphanages out of crowded lonely cribs and onto a caregivers body. We appreciate the work these caregivers do and know that often the number of babies and children outnumber those providing their care. By wearing the smallest ones they are able to care for multiple children simultaneously while still providing the touch infants need to thrive.
We’ve reached out to orphanages in Sudan and Guatemala to provide slings. If you know of an organization in need, let us know or Apply.
Adoptive families: We believe there are children out there for all of us. We also understand that the process of bringing your child home to you can be very costly financially leaving room only for the essentials. Those sacrifices are well worth it, of course, and we want to help you bond with your new babe. If you are adopting a child domestically (US) 12 months of age or under or internationally 24 months or under, we have a sling for you! Apply.
NICU’s and Preemie Parents: For babies born too soon, touch and recreating a womb like environment are essential for well being and growth. Studies have shown that kangaroo care (wearing a baby skin to skin) allows preemies to:
- gain weight faster
- leave the hospital sooner
- cry less
- have more stable temperatures
- are more alert
- sleep better
- breathe better
- have more stable heart rates
- feel less pain
Babies aren’t the only ones to benefit, parents:
- are less depressed
- are more comfortable in the NICU
- are more confident in caregiving ability
- have a more positive attitude toward baby
- perceive baby as less abnormal
- interact more with baby
- feel more important
- bond better
If you have a baby in NICU or are NICU staff and would like to introduce babywearing as a means of kangaroo care, we have a sling for you! Apply.
*Please note: All applications are subject to verification and approval.

I think what you are doing is fabulous. Babies and toddlers from orphanages and foster care need that bonding experience with their new families more than anything else in the world. Thank you for donating one of your first Sling Cycles to me. I will be sure to spread the word for you and I will certainly donate back all that I can.
